Introduction
Welcome to your
Past Life report. Whereas the birthchart is a symbolic road map
describing your current life, the Past Lives chart is a blueprint of
your previous incarnations. The pages that follow will help shed some
light on themes related to your past life instincts. First, let's talk
about reincarnation which is the belief that the current incarnation (as
depicted by our birthchart) is linked to the lives that we have
previously led. This collection of past influences points to particular
experiences you might encounter again so that you can further your
growth and fully develop your creative potential. These past impressions
go far in shaping many of our current thoughts and choices. There are
certain gifts a person seems to possess right out of the womb! It's as
though destiny or fate leads one to realize these attributes. Of course,
we still have to show ambition and make the effort in order to keep our
dreams alive. This report may give confirmation to talents that you
already know you have or open your eyes to ones that you have yet to
discover.
Our past lives are
alive and well in our consciousness. This may already be apparent to
you. But on the other hand, these experiences can lie beyond the
threshold of our conscious mind's awareness. What is doing the
remembering, if our mind isn't? Call it your soul, higher consciousness
or whatever explanation feels right to you.
Have you ever
heard about karma, that great law of cause and effect? An old timeless
saying sums up the whole process: "You reap what you sew." There are
actions and thoughts that defined us in other lives, or have guided us
to where we are in the present. They don't really exert any control over
us. We have freedom of choice. That's a strong message to remember when
reading this report.
Also, don't panic
if you read something that says you were not a perfect person. Nobody is
in the current one! Use the report as a learning tool. The idea is to
keep developing and evolving. It's balancing the cosmic rhythm of past
and present that presents each of us with a challenge. Do we respond
positively or negatively? With hope or doubt? Many of our tendencies are
linked to previous incarnations. Certain patterns have likely been by
our side over many lifetimes. As we grow and expand our awareness, it
becomes very possible to step beyond the trappings of past life baggage.
No doubt you will
read various sections that seem to contradict each other. Each could be
true about you. It's important to realize that many different dimensions
of ourselves live within us. Each of us is composed of memories from so
many past lives, combined with an assortment of ways we have learned to
deal with reality in this life, that make us complex beings. See which
descriptions ring true to you as you read through the following pages.
You will notice some traits described have a repeating theme.
I hope you find
this report an enjoyable ride into your past life instincts and thought
patterns. They are somewhere in your consciousness. Perhaps some of what
you read will strike a familiar chord. After all, these pages are all
about your past life loves, creative pursuits, adventures, travels,
highs and lows, over many lifetimes. Happy navigating!
The Past Life Chart Structure
Some technical
explanations about the Past Life chart (if you detest technical
discussions, then skip this paragraph and jump right into the report!).
The Ascendant in this chart starts with the sign on the cusp of the 12th
house, instead of the traditional method of using the sign on the 1st
house cusp, which is the sign rising on the eastern horizon at the time
of birth. Also, the Past Life birthchart houses are counted clockwise,
rather than the conventional way of counterclockwise. In other words,
since the 12th house becomes the Ascendant, the sign on the cusp of the
11th house now begins the 2nd house, etc., around the chart wheel. What
is considered the Ascendant or 1st house in the traditional chart
becomes the 12th in the Past Life chart. Your planets remain in the same
sign placements, but now occupy different houses, in this new chart. The
planets in signs are interpreted in your report from a past lives
perspective.
Something
interesting to consider in thinking of the houses in a clockwise
direction, they are actually now moving in the same direction as the
Nodes of the Moon. As you will read in the report the Moon's nodes are
strong past life or karmic points in a chart. Their retrograde motion is
clockwise meaning they share the same life biorhythms as the houses of
the Past Life chart. By traveling backward, or clockwise, through the
houses, you are being regressed back into a past life analysis. Enjoy
your ride down memory filled lanes!
The Passport
In this section are the first, middle and last names of your Past Lives
astrological identity, the Sun, Moon, and Past Lives Ascendant. Each of
these three building blocks will be discussed as to how they actively
shaped many of your former lives. But before you meet these three key
players, you will start your tour through memory lane with the North
Node of the Moon. The North Node contains a special message about what
was your overall life purpose. It was a constant rhythm pulsating in
your consciousness to keep you on target toward your true purposes. It
was a celestial compass trying to guide you to walk your talk with
greater clarity. So sit back, and enjoy reading your past lives primer.
Node in Taurus
You had a history
of attaining reliable resources. One of your key impulses was seeking
comfort and ownership. Your soul was normally patient to reincarnate,
knowing that a lifetime of work couldn't be done in a day. The
archetypal theme for your destiny was to be a stabilizing force. A
crucial lesson was not to get stuck. Becoming too attached to what you
tasted, touched, smelled and owned kept you from expanding your growth.
When you found ways to increase your wealth, it brought you great
satisfaction.
There were times
you were drawn into the danger lanes. A trickster was telling yourself
that whatever came easy was not to be trusted. Life seemed an endless
struggle. Finding a way to balance a sober outlook with seeking extreme
intensity was a key to your fulfillment. Finding contentment with your
desire nature regularly played a major role in your incarnations. You
needed to know that you could trust someone with your deepest secrets
and with your possessions. Claiming your own power in relationships and
in other endeavors, shed great illumination. Betrayal by those you
confided in threw you off course. Turning to your own values and
resourcefulness pointed the way to wholeness. A tendency to explore
life's mysteries deepened your understanding and taught you how to
convert negatives into positives.
Node in 3rd house
What types of
activities did you participate in that furthered your soul growth? It
most definitely was anything or anyone that stimulated your mind. If you
got too scattered there was a bit of frustration in trying to
concentrate. A common concern was "how can I reach the depths of my
learning ability?" When you took the time to seek expansive enough life
interests, you managed to stay out of karma's way. What sorts of
experiences motivated you? A big one was communication! Following right
behind it was an insatiable drive to be educated, whether traditionally
or unconventionally. Being a net-worker or broadcaster of a message was
another theme. Your energy levels peaked when finding a diversified
lifestyle that constantly breathed in refreshing new information.
Growing too one-dimensional is what deflated the air out of your
balloon. Keeping your eyes on a broad perspective with an eclectic
panache is what brought out a free-spiritedness. When you sought to
share your knowledge openly this kept you on track as much as embracing
a too narrow belief system was derailing. Somewhere always hiding in the
caverns of your memory banks were highly perceptive instincts mixed with
a tinge of not really wanting to be limited by reality. When using this
wisely and insightfully, life was colored with great variety, never
stopping long enough to be bored.
Sun: Creativity,
Ego, Self-expression
Sun in Aries:
The sign of Aries,
the ram, lighted the early-spring astrological skies at your birth into
this life. Let's explore what significance this had in regard to your
past lives. In traditional astrology, the keyword phrase for Aries is "I
am". You had a pattern of making a strong statement about your identity.
This isn't saying you had a confused self-image, lifetime after
lifetime. The old saying: "don't say yes when you mean no" applied here.
Assertiveness training was something that followed you from one
incarnation to another.
An archetype for
Aries is the Warrior. Another is the daredevil. Finding the courage to
express yourself directly was the challenge. How did you respond? If you
hid your true needs, then you didn't reach your goals. Then again, if
you overreacted by blowing everyone out of your way, you didn't have any
friends.
The cosmic
principle at work through many of your past incarnations was to act
first and reflect later. Within you are confident memories that catapult
you to overcome obstacles. Also, there are memories of times when you
abused your forcefulness, intimidating others. You found ego strength
when moving ahead with a conscious awareness of your own creative force.
You came into this life solarized through a sign promoting boldness.
This was a theme that ran throughout your incarnations and was a key to
your self-mastery. It was when you exercised focus and discipline that
this energy was turned into a real winner!
Sun in 4th house
You had solar
power that was expressed with a lot of feeling in previous lives. Though
it must be said you weren't always so quick to show your playing cards.
An inclination to be secretive until really trusting that the time was
right to reveal your true motives was a way of being. Your creative
vitality became awakened when you saw ways to add to feelings of
security. Home was godly in your opinion. You took pride in preserving
the customs and beliefs that were heartfelt. Loyalty to family and
ancestry was part of the package.
If there was a
challenge, it was becoming too scared to show your true talent. A lack
of confidence due to shyness or fear of failure was the source of this
behavior. You did often outgrow being overly reserved. The hermit and
silent one did live brightly through you. This isn't saying you were
always a loner, only that you needed time to warm up to people. Your
self-expression climbed the sky in a big way when you found the life
directions that energized your inner dreams. Getting your moods in sync
with your mind was a key to success. The world responded positively when
you had the courage to initiate actions that were for the good of all,
and not so graciously when you drew back into a reclusive shell. Getting
beyond the negative memories of the past usually was a first step in the
right direction. You found fulfillment in nurturing the growth of those
you loved, and witnessing the birth of your most cherished plans.
Moon: Sense of
Security, Roots, Feelings
Moon in Capricorn:
You were lunarized
at birth through the sign of Capricorn. What does this say about your
past life tendencies? An instinctual desire to trust the safety of
structure as a means to success followed you from one incarnation to
another. The family ancestries in past lives were linked by a serious
acceptance of responsibility and ambitious drives.
Your inner
landscapes were colored by a hard-working nature. Fear was the
stumbling block that got in your way. When you conquered self-doubt just
enough to break free, you found your true paths. You could be quite
reserved, even shy, until getting to know someone. It's possible that
you felt younger as you became older! You were a reliable sort. Some may
have found you a little strict. The less control you exhibited, the
closer loved ones came to you.
You enjoyed
solitude as the atmosphere spoke to your soul. You rose into leadership
positions because people trusted you. You reached the top of a
profession through steady patience. Delayed gratification was not that
hard for you. Being too conservative when it came to taking a risk did
cost you an opportunity or two. Depression was a challenge. It was
important that you didn't make your work your whole life. Another strong
theme was leadership. Your subconscious called to you to stay clear of
becoming rigid, and let the voice of your intuition speak as loudly as
your pragmatic side.
Moon in 8th house
You had intuitive
power when it came to understanding the deeper psychological processes
of people. Trust didn't come easy. You instinctually knew to be cautious
around those arousing your suspicion in order to ensure your sense of
security. A probing psyche allowed you to guard against letting
individuals get too close, until getting to know them. When you did
depend on someone too much, and got hurt in the process, the scar didn't
go away quickly. You tended to process the past diligently.
There were power
struggles. It wasn't easy to trust others. If you did draw close to
someone, the bond did grow quite deep. Your moods were about as intense
as they came. People often wondered what was going on in your head, as
many of your thoughts were kept private. There was a mental toughness
that separated you from the fainthearted. The downside was self-undoing
through compulsive desires and a tendency to be self-destructive. The
upside was equally as strong, showing a talent to master incredible
creative energies, and to overcome adversity. There were strong survival
instincts. An inner feeling to seek passionate and intense relationships
was a repeating pattern. You preferred lovers and friends who were
generous with their money and property. It encouraged you to open your
heart to them. Experiences that fostered your personal empowerment and
offered privacy were your favorites.
Ascendant:
Persona, Identity, Calling Card
Cancer on
Ascendant:
With the sign
Cancer as your past lives Ascendant, a search for a sense of security
frequently colored your incarnations. You were very attached to your
home. When you became bonded to a location or home, it took a lot to pry
you loose. You moved fast when needing to preserve your sense of
security. You were not the easiest person to get to know. On the surface
you seemed rather flowing, but behind that outer show of cool was a
tendency to proceed slowly. You looked out at the world with cautious
eyes. People perceived you in past lives as a very private person. Your
inner world was complex. People saw you as a bit secretive. You revealed
your secret agendas to those who won your trust or admiration. Honoring
your family ancestry was a heartfelt desire. You frequently looked at
the world through eyes that wished to preserve the past. You initiated
actions spontaneously when you became fired up over an idea. When you
were the catalyst for change, you moved faster than when you were
attempting to adjust to changes imposed upon you. You had a need to be
with people not afraid to feel deeply. You usually looked for those
closest to you to give their support when you needed to meet life's
challenges. Remembering to take the time to be happy and appreciate the
present was something you always needed to learn.
The Quest
Mercury: Communication, Perceptions and Logic
Mercury in Pisces
You were
Mercurialized at birth through the sign of Pisces pointing to highly
imaginative mental impulses in past lives. Your communication style was
dreamy and contemplative.
The world never
really measured up to your expectations. You did your best to find the
niches that allowed your fantasy world to coexist with responsibilities.
Escaping from everyday norms brought you to try varying lifestyles. The
arts did satisfy a hunger to express a poetic and magical mind. The
muses visited you frequently. The powers of your intuition went far. You
did occasionally feel betrayed by your feelings and unconditional trust
of others. Reality testing taught you a few lessons in knowing your
limits.
Often it took two
professions or multiple interests to keep you happy. Divine discontent
swept you away in search of more inspiring people, places, or things.
You were capable of seeing into the deepest recesses of someone's mind.
It was guilt that at times grew bothersome. When you sought to escape
from facing your problems, life could become a disorienting maze. When
you found the faith to walk your talk, people couldn't help but admire
you. Addictive habits weakened your spirit in a few lives. Your
spiritual quest to find a sense of unity was a motivating force. Your
mental outlook was brighter when you either served meaningful causes or
you found paths that kept you inspired.
Mercury in 5th
house
Your perceptions
moved dramatically in search of ways to express your most heartfelt
desires. Ideas you presented had a way of attracting attention. You
energetically looked out at the world as a stage to act out your plans.
Your mind was invigorated through being in the company of lively
individuals. You liked being where the action was happening. Confidence
grew as you found those outlets that showcased your abilities. When you
were ignored it was hurtful. At times, you were too demanding of center
stage.
Communication was
a strong point in that you knew how to make powerful first impressions.
This doesn't mean you always won people over to your point of view. When
you stubbornly persisted on getting your own way it caused tension and
discord. Your creative passion did sway others to invest in you. Taking
risks made you nervous but the temptation was hard to resist. If you
rushed forward impulsively without considering the consequences it got
you into trouble. Challenges that had a promise of elevating your sense
of self-importance got your dedication. You didn't like being told what
to do. You liked to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Venus:
Relationships, Values, Comfort.
Venus in Taurus
With the love
goddess adorning you through the sign of Taurus at birth, you came from
past lives where you sought after sensual and stabilizing relationships.
Many people perceived you as symbolizing beauty and calmness. Your
social instincts were shaded with a hue of enjoyment in meeting
individuals with similar values.
The ideal soul
mate was a person with a level head and with a knack for making you feel
comfortable. You were attracted to lovers knowing how to make a good
living and having the generosity to share their wealth. You didn't like
to be rushed to judgment. Actually you became quite stubborn when this
did occur. You had a fondness for the arts. Living amongst serene
landscapes was a heartfelt need. The hustle and bustle of the
competitive business world did not appeal to you. In other lives it was
just the opposite, finding yourself an active merchant on Main Street.
Where was the rub?
You sometimes were accused of being too possessive of those you loved.
Then there were those instances when you became obsessed with physical
desires. You found greater happiness when keeping these tendencies in
check. Your romantic fulfillment depended greatly on finding partners
able to carry their share of the responsibility, and individuals willing
to share your love of peace.
Venus in 3rd house
You were mentally
quick when interacting socially. You tended to be a stimulating force in
relationships, with ideas that made others think more insightfully.
Communication-friendly lovers attracted your attention, and your way
with words got them to notice you. Versatility was what you looked for
in people. Rigidity didn't impress you.
Some accused you
of being fickle and lacking concentration. Though you explained this as
a need to stay mentally diversified. Travel companions on the physical
and intellectual levels made you feel at ease. Your peers experienced
you as curious and even anxious. You liked to keep your options so open
that at times making commitments was testy. You valued not being forced
into decisions and liked individuals with a willingness to be open to
change. When people listened to you they made you feel valuable.
Encouraging those you loved to see the possibilities before them meant a
lot to you.
Mars: Assertion,
Courage, Identity
Mars in Leo
What would a
warrior planet in the fiery sign of Leo mean regarding your past lives?
A ferocious drive to proceed ahead forcefully was what you demonstrated.
Patience depended more on whether you thought something was worth seeing
through to the end. You could exert incredible will power if fighting
for your most passionate desires. Your initiating impulse blasted off
when you found your creative power. A competitive spirit was launched
when you were determined to bring enterprising ideas to the public. You
weren't afraid to take chances though twenty-twenty hindsight did make
for embarrassing moments. This didn't really detract from your getting
right back to pushing another plan. Self-centeredness did create
tension.
Your identity felt
more at home when in love with a special someone, and having your
creations admired. You could be easily angered by those not appreciating
your romantic advances and by those critical of you. You were someone
needing outlets to keep your energy directed smoothly. When you moved
with awareness and foresight, you never had to look far for adventurous
challenges and growth.
Mars in 12th house
You took
initiative when it came to seeking paths to fulfill your idealism. Your
adrenaline got pumping when you went on adventurous escapes. There was
endless imagination at your disposal. The trick was not becoming so
disillusioned with reality that you got stuck. A competitive side came
forward when people told you your dreams were impossible to fulfill.
This made you try that much harder to prove them wrong. Fighting to
defend those you loved was a repeating pattern. Rushing headfirst into
romance happened more often than not. You didn't always care about the
consequences of your actions. What made you become territorial? It was
when you felt your ideals being threatened by those not understanding
them.
Impatience with
those you loved caused bad feelings. You could have high standards with
unreasonable expectations. When you realized you were being too
demanding relationships were more flowing. Assertiveness was testy.
Guilt did at times keep you waterlogged, as did trying to be too
perfect. You were an intense mixture of fire and water, which resulted
in steam. You had to connect with your intuition to stay on target.
Anger was another challenge. You could be stone quiet, making others try
to figure out if you were mad. Then again, irrational outbursts would
come when you couldn't hold back anymore. You were at the top of your
game when acting from your highest beliefs.
Jupiter:
Knowledge, Expansion, Philosophy, Travel
Jupiter in
Sagittarius
Having Jupiter,
the planet of good fortune, in the sign of Sagittarius indicates that
you were enthusiastic about new adventures. A gypsy, free-spirited soul
you were! You chose to expand your potential through education and
meeting people from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge was godlike in your
perspective. Learning made you feel like you were soaring high above the
crowd. It was important for you to find your own unique destiny, no
matter where this took you. In many lives you were as nomadic as they
came. You were luckier than most. Why? Maybe it was that undying faith
in positive outcomes. Or perhaps it was that captivating way of talking.
You were a fish out of water when lacking confidence. You assumed it was
your birthright to know things always worked out for the best. Blind
faith and making ridiculous promises got the world mad at you. When you
became too argumentative for your own truths, lovers and friends turned
away until you became more accepting. You often were just the lift
others needed to be around. Your restless spirit danced circles around
the more complacent. You didn't want to rest for too long, fearing you
could miss the next door of opportunity. When maintaining a broad
perspective you more easily could see your way through the trees without
losing the inherent beauty of the forest.
Jupiter in 8th
house
A positive and
enterprising outlook influenced you to look for profitable alliances.
You felt great if you managed to pull off moving in multiple directions
successfully. Although there were times when you regretted not focusing
on one major undertaking at a time. Losing important confidantes or
romantic partners through not paying attention to them did get you
thinking about your priorities. A tendency to be too secretive
distanced you from others. Spontaneity in tempting fate, or even living
in dangerous situations, made you feel refreshed. Learning to keep life
simple proved a wise alternative. Getting lost in compulsive desires
needed to be kept in check. A powerful rejuvenation of energy followed
when you turned things around. Travel was one of your favorite ways to
process information or past experiences. Luck smiled favorably upon you
when letting go of your irrational fears. Good fortune came through
having the wisdom to know which belief systems would expand your
options.
The Journey
Saturn: Ambition, Seriousness, Focus, Responsibility
Saturn in Leo
Ambition came
through you with thunderous force, says your past lives history, with
Saturn placed in the dramatic sign of Leo. Discipline followed after you
plunged passionately into your most creative endeavors. You didn't like
taking a backseat to anyone. Pride in your accomplishments was your
style. It didn't hurt your feelings if people applauded loudly. The rub
was when they didn't acknowledge your talents quickly enough. But let it
be said you were willing to cheer on others in return. Your greatest
fear was rejection. It devastated you, especially in romance. When you
realized that not everyone would love you unconditionally, guess what
happened? You found happiness faster.
A karmic shadow
was being too overconfident in some lives, while lacking ego strength in
others. How could both be possible? There were times when you steam
rolled your desires over others. Then there were lives when you lacked
belief in your ability to the point of hiding your talent. Finding that
middle ground of inner faith took you out of this challenge. You often
defined yourself through professions allowing you to exercise your full
creative capacity, and as someone with an endless amount of vitality.
Saturn in 12th
house
What was your main
focus? Determining reliable beliefs. You consistently asked at crucial
points during an incarnation: how can I find a true purpose that can
withstand the test of time? Divine discontent reared its head when you
let perfection get out of hand. You were repeatedly seeking control over
your subconscious fears. This doesn't mean you were ruled by doubts.
It's only saying that you were challenged to make your ideals visible.
Escapism was the main cause of karmic woes. The antidote was greater
flexibility in this area, that is, when you were determined not to
repeat the same old lessons needing to be learned. You didn't always
relish assuming responsibility.
A shadow was
guilt. Feeling too responsible for the problems of others. Knowing your
boundaries in relationships was the ultimate challenge. Clear definition
concerning love and feelings was preferred, but not necessarily
accomplished. When you found people that you could trust, or that
believed in you, it was easier to tune into your deeper self. You had to
understand that it was okay to make a mistake, and that nobody was
perfect. This wasn't an easy lesson to learn. A major redefining
occurred in lifetimes when you suffered a serious illness or setback.
This caused you to take stock of circumstances and reflect. You found
solace in overcoming dilemmas through a deepening intuition, and by
reaching back for the courage to move ahead. Wisdom came through knowing
which ideals to trust.
Uranus:
Individuality, Goals, Uniqueness, Freedom
Uranus in Gemini
You had a tendency
to think excitedly about future goals, indicates having Uranus in the
sign Gemini. Your mind did switch to fast forward when talking about
ideas and when getting an opportunity to learn new information.
Communication was an arena that you knew well. You had unique insights
into situations that often outreached others. It wasn't always easy to
fit into traditional social norms as you often had a foot in
unconventional thinking. You had laser-like perceptions that could cut
through to original material quickly. You sometimes had a rebellious
streak due to feeling unaccepted by the status quo.
Inventiveness was
readily at your fingertips. Moving in more than one direction
simultaneously made some heads spin, but delighted your own. You became
aloof when not trusting others. Maintaining a sense of direction kept
you from getting lost while experimenting with the multiple road maps
you had operating and allowed you to better catch a relaxing breath in
the midst of dealing with life's paradoxes.
Uranus in 2nd
house
In what way were
you unconventional? It was in regard to money and ownership. You had
unusual tastes and unpredictable spending patterns. You were sometimes
haphazard with finances. Your futuristic vision stimulated your values
to change, and led to reinventing yourself. Your goals caused you to go
beyond your comfort zones. Taking risks made you nervous, but there were
occasions when you tempted fate simply for the experience. A sense of
direction made you feel like you had secure footing. You liked
independence when it came to knowing you could buy what you needed. You
didn't like to be too dependent on others as a way of proving your
personal autonomy. You were hard to figure out because you had an
inclination to rebel against stability. Yet you tired of life in the
fast lane eventually. Freedom to you meant knowing you could start over
from scratch if necessary. It also meant earning a living in your own
unique way. You were inventive in finding the resources you needed to
ensure success and survival.
Neptune: Idealism,
Romanticism, Intuition, Dreams, Escapism
Neptune in Libra
You believed in
ideals that symbolized fairness and justice for all. Your idealism was
awakened through the individuals believing in you, and the ones you
admired. Talents in the arts were shown in several lives. You liked
individuals possessing diplomacy and tact. Stress annoyed you if lasting
too long. Denying there was any problems never resolved anything.
Romance was a great calling. Love was almost a religion. You liked
exotic partners and those willing to move quickly in an atmosphere of
celebration. Falling in love with a lack of reality testing was not in
your best interest.
A major challenge
was in defining the boundaries between you and others. Guilt made you
feel too responsible for a person's troubles. Wearing rose colored
glasses painted false first impressions of individuals, letting you see
what only you chose to perceive. There were times when you could see
right into the soul of someone. When you were honest with yourself, you
gravitated to the right peers and lovers. You wanted from the deepest
part of your soul to get opportunities to express your gifts and to find
a special someone that recognized the true you. You found transcendental
growth through not trying to overly please others, and by having the
faith to proceed ahead with your most determined effort.
Neptune in 10th
house
In what way were
you extra intuitive? It was in regard to knowing how to perform roles,
whether it was in the area of occupation, parent or leader. You were
sensitive about being seen as doing great work. Though this doesn't mean
you always could tune into this information or desired to. Glamorous
professions or ones that could potentially bring fame mesmerized you.
The strange thing is that so did causes that paid little other than
emotional satisfaction. This duality existed side by side in many of
your lifetimes. Your idealism encouraged you to try things that many
wouldn't go near.
A test was not
being swayed by too many opposing loyalties. In the end, this led to
dreadful consequences. Your spirituality had a way of solidifying your
strength. What was the biggest challenge? It was how you reacted to
failure or not meeting your own expectations. Drowning your sorrows in
the wrong things wasn't the answer. Another side of this coin was being
afraid to make your abilities visible, as in stage fright. Faith
transformed your denial into greater self-acceptance, and not to ask
others to be too perfect. You searched for a purpose that gave you a
clear awareness of reality.
Pluto: Personal
Power, Self-mastery, Rebirth, Loss, Passion
Pluto in Leo
Empowering
yourself through creative risk-taking was a past lives tendency. A
strong drive to make your plans ring true was forever pulsating through
you. Finding pride through giving birth to ideas was a regular pattern.
Cheering and promoting emanated from you loudly. You shined brightly
with charisma when your accomplishments were recognized. Your enthusiasm
often swept people into believing in you. Growing too attached to what
you loved was an occasional downfall. Maintaining some objective
distance from lovers and your creations made you easier to like.
There was a
shadow. What was it? A fear of losing. When your skin toughened up
enough to at least accept a small dose of rejection, you didn't suffer
as much. You could fight endlessly to make others accept your proposals
and deals. In the end, you had to decide which battles to wage. In some
incarnations you actually lacked the confidence to be successful.
Therefore, in this latter case you had to find ways to allow the talent
to develop. Self-mastery was discovered through allowing authentic
self-expression beam brightly from you. You found rebirth or a sense of
renewal when listening to your heart, rather than the fear of your
self-doubt.
Pluto in 12th
house
How did you go
about seeking personal empowerment? You followed your idealism as far as
it would take you. Acting on faith made you suddenly stronger than you
thought. A renewed sense of purpose was discovered through falling in
love with a person or a cause. You had high expectations of life that
weren't always easy to meet. Romance did take you out of the doldrums
and onto higher plateaus. Your survival skills became activated when
people were trying to take away your dreams. This was hands-off
territory. Without hope, you were as lost as they came. You depended
heavily on lovers and friends for inspiration. A powerful
self-examination manifested when you lost a lover or your idealism was
crushed. It was then that you had to rally all of your strength to move
forward. A compulsive tendency to grow addicted to a lover, or to a
substance, threw your life out of balance and got you to ask
thought-provoking questions. A shadow frequently followed you into
incarnations connected to losing yourself in various escapes. A lack of
well-defined boundaries caused confusion in relationships. When you did
some reality testing and got grounded, you found greater harmony.
Footnotes
You have already been introduced to the ten planets. Certain planetary
pairs in your chart have a special relationship to one another due to
particular angular distances separating them, known as aspects. You
could say the two planets in an aspect travel and interact together
along the same circuit. The following aspects will be listed under five
types. Two are known as the soft aspects: the sextile (60 degrees) and
trine (120 degrees). These two aspects generally point to more gentle
themes, and therefore will describe past life trends that went very well
for you. They indicate a lower voltage of electricity and produced less
friction in your mind and through your actions. The planets involved in
a trine or sextile are more likely to talk about areas where you flowed
without much effort.
The more hard or
intense aspects are the conjunction (0 degrees), square (90 degrees) and
opposition (180 degrees). They required your best understanding in past
lives. Planets that are part of an intense aspect you will notice often
indicate lessons that must be learned, and follow us from one
incarnation into another until we get them in balance. These higher
voltage aspects don't mean the planets operated negatively, only that
there was much more force behind them. "Soft" does not mean good and
"intense" does not imply bad. It is often the more intense aspects that
deepen our soul growth, that is, if we learn how to use their power
wisely. If we don't it's like taking one step forward and three back.
It might be
helpful to keep some keywords in mind for the aspects. The sextile
represents Excitation and Eagerness. The planets in this aspect give
clues as to how their energies worked in a stimulating way through you.
The trine is a special Harmony. The two planets involved show you were
confident of their interacting energies. The conjunction is where two
planets are joined at the hip. There is a Fusion or powerful blending of
these energies. The square can reveal where you encountered Friction.
Pay special attention to these aspects in particular because they denote
themes that are strong past patterns. Squares ask us to resolve their
conflict by finding creative outlets. The opposition requires a
Balancing act. It is similar to a seesaw. Gaining objective awareness
about each planet is a key. Remember, it was usually the most intense
aspects that stretched you the most in past lives.
Sun square Moon
Your needs
regularly clashed with those of individuals closest to you. You often
derived creative power from conflict. Expressing yourself forcefully
made you feel confident. Holding back your talents limited your options.
You were restless when outgrowing what a locality offered. You grew
demanding when fighting to get your own way. Letting those you loved
find their own leadership roles, was as vital as you courageously
wearing the ones suiting you.
Moon conjunct
Jupiter
It was in your
soul to travel. Adventure was what gave you life. There was much
relocating and going to foreign places. The student and gypsy didn't
need much encouragement. Some thought you undependable. It's fact that
you didn't like being tied down. You did become too expansive at times.
A free-spirited psyche guided you. When you did manage to plant roots,
you found your direction. It was your vision that others trusted. Ethics
and honesty meant much to you. Knowledge was something you enjoyed.
Keeping risks reasonable was wise.

Ascendant
Relationships had
a way of making you take a good look at yourself. You needed to be
careful in not trying to find an unrealistic sense of security in a
lover. Your intuition sensed who were the best individuals to have in
romance or friendship, that is, if you listened to it.
Sun trine Saturn
You liked things
that came easily, without great effort. It's not that you lacked
ambition, it's only that you didn't want to sweat if not needing to do
so. If you lacked drive, it was usually because you didn't want to take
the chance on failing. You often recovered quickly from setbacks due to
not taking yourself too seriously. Your management style was gentle and
not so controlling.
Sun oppose Neptune
Relationships have
tested you as much or more than anything. Finding a soul mate was
intoxicating, making you feel on top of the world. The trick was not
denying your feelings. Falling in love with what appeared to be pretty
and lovely wasn't always what was being hidden deeper down in the
package. You were more successful in partnerships when learning to take
a second look before committing. In some lives, it was not easy to be
with anyone. You were pulled away by dreams. Pursuing what you saw as
magical or inspirational felt like a calling. Over-sensitivity held back
your talents, fearing people could see right through you. Destiny
seemed to bring you into the company of those able to help you reach the
highest plateaus. Though being careful in whom you believed in proved
wise.
Sun trine Pluto
You had
considerable self-confidence. The challenge was acting on it.
Complacency set in if you weren't up to dealing with resistance to your
plans. A sunny disposition attracted support. Creative success made you
feel fully empowered. A wise use of power made others want to support
your life aims. You had good sense in saving and earning money.
Sun square
Ascendant
You didn't exactly
find the world ready for your creativity. However, this doesn't mean you
weren't successful. It's just saying that at times you had to exert
great will power. Knowing when you were getting too pushy kept you out
of trouble. When you lacked ego strength, it was due to little
confidence. Lovers and friends when acting as cheerleaders got you
going. Trying too hard to be liked didn't get the results you desired.
You had great stamina when competing. Losing wasn't really an option
when you were on top of your game. People trying to change you met with
resistance. You were better liked when allowing those closest to you be
themselves. You grew in strength when tuning into your inner power as it
proved stronger than forcing the world to accommodate you.
Mercury square
Uranus
Perceptions that
cut right through pretense was part of your past. You possessed a sharp
intellect. Stability didn't make you feel all that comfortable. When
life got too predictable you grew uneasily bored. Sarcastic responses
did cause tension between you and friends. Political ideologies that
were quite different than the norm attracted you. A rebel streak made
you an instigator for change. Being different just to stir things up
wasn't always in your best interest. Your ideas usually got a strong
reaction, whether for or against. Nervous breakdowns were not uncommon,
due to a hectic pace or an unwillingness to slow down. When you gained
objectivity and got grounded, you were quite a communicator. You had a
great eye for shortcuts to success. It was skipping those nagging
details that annoyed people.
Mercury oppose
Midheaven
Your communication
skills were regularly utilized in your work. You had a way of sensing as
to how to best serve the public. You functioned better when not being
subjected to intense criticism. Your determination for success usually
developed slowly, and gained strength as you found your footing. In
leadership positions, you had a keen eye for detail. Self-confidence was
a challenge. You weren't the easiest person to work with until you
gained patience. The more successful you became, the more generosity you
showed toward others. It was when you stayed mentally cool during a
crisis that others liked you.
Mars conjunct
Saturn
Getting along with
authority figures was usually a great test. Being assertive ran in the
extremes. In some lives you were geared more toward not being very
direct. Yet, in others, you were quite aggressive. Somewhere in the
middle was where you needed to be! Fear either pushed you to move
forward or stopped you frozen in your tracks. Learning how to take that
first small step toward accomplishing something was perhaps the biggest
challenge. Discipline and focus came after finding those interests that
you deemed worthy of your time. You weren't sure how to deal with anger.
But you felt better when getting things off of your chest. Trying to
control others by making them fear you never brought them closer. Though
when you wanted someone to be afraid of your bark rather than your bite,
you knew how to do it.
Mars conjunct
Pluto
People were in the
habit of challenging your power. The trick was how to keep from
escalating problems. You had your share of battle scars. Fighting for
survival was a repeating pattern. Anger had a tendency to build over
periods of time and then erupt. Your closest companions could sense when
you were angry by your silence or moods. An intensity to take on a new
challenge just for the adventure was another trait. You were forceful
when wanting your own way. A passionate person you were. It didn't take
long for others to see you made quite a formidable opponent due to a
competitive streak. Patience was a key to self-mastery. Quiet
contemplation helped you better get a handle on your intensity. You
found out much about yourself when confronted by adversity. Seeking
revenge sometimes haunted you. Letting go of the past was a slow
process.
Mars square Node
When you veered
too far from the right paths, life slapped you in the face. It was a
wake up call. When walking your talk, clearly the conflict wasn't as
abrupt. Living in extremes could occur before you knew what happened.
You had a tendency to move fast instinctively, which sometimes worked
beautifully. There were occasions when you had to retrace your steps due
to lack of foresight. You caused many of your battles through
unconscious actions that infuriated others. Though in all fairness, even
when you were as clear as the brightest sunshiny day, enemies challenged
your strength. There were lives where you withdrew from struggles. The
burnout or exhaustion was replaced with a revitalized self. You had a
knack for sensing danger on the horizon. This made you better prepared
to defend yourself. A spiritual awakening changed you drastically making
you desire to take a burning intensity to a higher level of expression.
Jupiter oppose
Uranus
Your ideas made
people think deeply about where they were in life. You liked individuals
with a refreshing vision of the future. You could be obstinate when
holding onto your goals and personal preferences. Relationships were
exhilarating. You liked friends and lovers that had a love of
spontaneity. Traveling on the mental and physical levels was what was
stimulating. Freedom meant everything to you. Being confined under the
watchful eyes of someone made you rebel. Your beliefs didn't really fit
into the norm. Your unpredictability sure was exciting but not so
productive. Maintaining a sense of direction was vital!
Jupiter oppose
Ascendant
Life was perceived
to be a wide-open adventure, at least that's the way you wanted it to
be. Your self-confidence was greatly impacted by the type of partners
you attracted. Unfounded belief sooner or later needed sober reality
testing. Sometimes you believed too much in others. Balancing your own
needs with that of a partner was the challenge. You thrived on the
stimulation of relating to others.
Saturn conjunct
Pluto
Watching extremes
was what you needed to do. Compulsive urges for power sometimes took you
to great heights and in some ways met with self-destruction. The wise
use of power was the best road to success. You made long lasting pacts
with partners. Trust was the big story. You enjoyed great loyalty, but
then again you had to watch your back, as betrayal was inevitable. Why?
It was usually related to people envious of your position in life. They
wanted what you had. Knowing who were your friends and identifying
clearly who wasn't was vital. Professional ambition was intense.
Whatever roles you took on, you put out great effort. Your expectations
of others were tough. Becoming more lenient with loved ones was the way
to bring them closer. Learning how to forgive kept relationships going
longer. You possessed a mental toughness that wasn't afraid of
challenges. What you couldn't control, you needed to learn how to
accept, or it eventually destroyed you. Your contemporaries found you to
be self-sufficient. When you discovered your life passions, it was a
sense of freedom. Self-mastery came when feeling fully empowered.
Saturn square Node
You had a great
determination to not let harsh realities hinder your path to happiness.
There was a commitment to finish what you started. Remembering to be
flexible, especially in the midst of a crisis, gave you extra longevity.
Wisdom was born through not worrying about what you couldn't change.
Professional aspirations were intense, but so was performing any role
that you took on. It was raw fear that kept you from acting responsible
and interfered with your enjoying people, places or things. You added to
your karma when imposing your will on others. You lessened it by
tolerating differences. Satisfying the demands of society on one hand
you didn't mind, but there was another side of the coin, which was the
challenge in living out your most cherished aspirations. When you felt
discounted or not appreciated, bitterness about having to pay your dues
settled in. Keeping a positive attitude and not putting all of your eggs
into being a workaholic pointed the way to harmony.
Uranus square
Midheaven
Creating stability
wasn't your first impulse as there was a tendency to be an agent of
change. Unfortunately this made it difficult to achieve stability at
home or out in the world. Putting this inner and outer struggle to rest
brought harmony. The challenge resided in being able to find ways to
channel this forceful energy constructively. You anxiously wanted to
receive support and approval for your goals. Breaking free from everyone
else's expectations did point you in the right direction. Rebelling with
no sense of purpose spelled disaster and left your life in pieces.
Nobody could really say that you were someone without opinions. It was
finding that middle ground of doing your own thing and not stepping on
the rights of others that yielded fulfillment.
Pluto square Node
You either got
what you wanted, or died trying. You sometimes feel like forcing life to
comply with your demands. Sometimes you did accomplish what many
wouldn't have dared to try. Letting go of the past was a struggle. You
went through a slow death when losing a loved one or a job. Abundance
came when you expressed your true passions. Compulsive lust and greed
took you down the wrong roads. Backtracking came when you saw that there
would be no stability without converting negative tendencies to your
advantage. Moderation was hard to realize. You were fortunate when
finding the clarity to get a handle on extremes. People were attracted
to your intensity. Your determination to make things happen was big. A
rebirth occurred when you walked through doors that gave you a clearer
picture of what your larger purpose was all about.
Midheaven trine
Node
You believed in
making effort but not forcing life to meet your demands. There was a
quiet confidence that your ambition would be rewarded if you gave it
your best. You were happier when staying true to a vast vision that
incorporated experiences from all walks of the world.

pattern of moving in fast forward. Your past life tendency was to learn
new information your own way. Seeing opposing points of view did not

in knowing your boundaries or you would give until completely depleted.

lover you cared to be. Freedom needs dictated just how you responded to
a partner. You demanded a lot of attention. Developing consistency

you could channel it into productive outlets quite successfully. You
lived much of the time for your future goals. The present was more
tolerable if it met the expectations of your need for opportunity. Some
saw you as unreasonable because you hated restrictions. Others envied
and admired in the same breath the example you set as far as walking
your talk.

get bogged down by the ordinary details. You did your best to sidestep
them. Sometimes you lived for learning new skills. Work environments
that challenged you mentally kept you interested. A tendency to quickly
outgrow situations kept you moving from one form of work to another.
When you didn't beat to your own drum, you got real nervous and even
accident-prone. Your mind tested reality to see if it could pave the way
for a more interesting future. You were not as happy when letting others
talk you out of your most important goals. When you did get situated and
find the right niches, you could express a very focused mind. Settling
for less occurred due to a lack of confidence related to being critiqued
by the wrong people. When you trusted your instincts to act, rather than
to think only, you were successful beyond measure.
7th House:
Relationships, marriage, partnerships, social awareness.
Capricorn on 7th house:
You preferred
relationships that were stable. Trust didn't come easily, but with time,
you did manage to warm up to your fair share of mates. Time was your
ally in romance because you needed this to deepen your commitments. You
didn't impulsively rush into partnerships. Your love relationships got
out of balance if you treated someone too businesslike, rather than as a
lover. When you exhibited a cold personality it was more out of fear.
Some of your partners were a bit reserved. You chose to live alone at
times because this made it easier than trying to please someone. A
resistance to a lover's need for new experiences did cause tension.
There were times when a lack of flexibility in a lover put considerable
pressure on you. You did sometimes learn that trying to control others
didn't bring them closer. People that didn't let your seriousness bother
them often became your friends. Your bark was louder than your bite.
Finding ways to stay playful kept your relationships longer lasting.
Balanced dependency needs was important to the stability of a
partnership.

joint resources, rebirth, passion, self-mastery.
Scorpio on 8th house:
The sharing of
money and power had to be handled carefully. Knowing whom to trust was a
test. Extreme jealousy needed to be moderated. An attachment to the
wrong types of people made life difficult. However, when you selected
the right partners, you were on top of the world. Dealing with
possessive individuals was never easy. You had to learn how to claim
your own power. Privacy was dear to your soul. You needed a retreat at
times to keep your psyche strong and clear. When you kept life simple,
it was easier to be happy. You didn't tend to trust others that quickly.
It generally took time to draw close, no matter if the relationship got
off to a passionate start. You usually wanted to convince yourself that
you could make it on your own. A self-sufficient spirit was with you
often. You felt better about joining forces with others, after being
sure of your own autonomy.
9th House: travel,
learning, philosophy, knowledge, optimism.
Libra on 9th house:
You were torn
between chasing after a dream and pleasing others. Cleverness in
figuring out how to have both was within your grasp. You grew confused
the most when letting someone talk you out of your belief system. This
was when great indecision would surface. You didn't always care to know
the truth about situations because it pressured you into doing what was
right. Your ethics did guide you to find friends and lovers with similar
values.
10th House:
Professions, ambition, leadership, focus, commitments.
Virgo on 10th house:
Worrying
compulsively about the outcome of things did surface. When you delegated
work to others, it took a lot of stress off of you. Learning how to let
go and trust that life would turn out for the best wasn't easy. Being a
workaholic was something you needed to be on the guard about. It was
easy for you to forget to pace yourself. You lived longer when you
listened and respected your body's plea for a break in the action. The
perfection you put into your work did get others to take notice. It was
important to realize to know when to stop perfecting. When you believed
in your ability, great things happened.
11th house: Goals,
individuality, freedom, inventive, progressive, unique.
Leo on 11th house:
You approached the
future like it was something to conquer. You would roar like a lion when
people were infringing upon your rights. Anyone squatting too far into
your territory was looking for a fight. Your goals were
characteristically self-centered. This didn't bother your lovers and
closest friends as long as you weren't too ruthless in going after your
aspirations. Your vision could be disruptive of the routines of those
not liking your suggestions. Patience was a challenge. In a lifetime or
two you were a notorious gambler. Learning to look before leaping was
wise. Getting close to you was not all that easy when you were too much
in love with your independence. People liked you more when you accepted
their right to disagree. Your creative spirit never liked to be held
back for long!
12th house:
Idealism, intuition, escape, faith, beliefs.
Leo on 12th house:
You were in love
with your causes. It wasn't like you to do things halfway. A true
romantic you often were. Finding a soul mate sharing your heartfelt need
for self-expression was a constant factor. It was important that you
didn't overly exaggerate your potential. Promising more than you could
deliver did cause a few embarrassing situations. Falling in love with
individuals pretending to admire you was another past lives theme. It
usually became apparent to you, sooner or later, that not everyone could
be trusted when it came to matters of the heart. You tuned into your
intuitive nature in two ways. One was when you were madly in love. The
other being when you passionately expressed your creativity. It was when
you ignored that there were physical limits that your body suffered.
Your will power to live boldly could compensate for occasional bad
judgment. You had a habit of not wanting to hear the word no when you
were determined to go ahead with a plan. You did impress people when
with fiery enthusiasm, spontaneously putting an ideal into action.
Although a lack of ego strength did cause you to lack the courage to
take on a new challenge. When you transcended this tendency, you
reclaimed your creative power.
Planets in
actuality never really move backward, but can appear to do so. This is
referred to as retrograde motion, and as you will read has special past
life meaning surrounding a particular planet's symbolism. The following
are planets that were moving retrograde at your birth with a description
as to how this played out for you in other incarnations.
Saturn retrograde:
It was a repeating
pattern that you had much to learn regarding flexibility versus
rigidity. These two opposites were a sore spot of contention. A tendency
to get extremely focused when you enjoyed a role was a past pattern. You
were happier when feeling in control of your life. Knowing when to show
vulnerability and when to show a tough set of armor was wisdom indeed!
Some thought you lacked ambition. What they didn't see working behind
the scenes was your inner search to find professions and directions that
seemed worth the effort. An inclination toward becoming a
one-dimensional workaholic was a potential trap. Remembering that life
was a multidimensional panorama made for happier times. There was a
need to steer clear of icebergs that brought depression and feelings of
rejection. Responding with courage to your commitments lessened your
anxiety about them. It was in not letting fear keep you from the love
and success you painfully wanted that you reached the highest of
milestones.
Neptune
Retrograde:
It was a repeating
pattern that you needed to watch out what you asked life for. Do you
know why? Because you were apt to get it! A tendency to have a strong
intuitive quality was a past pattern. In some incarnations you were
quite the poet, artist, entertainer or mystic. Perfection wasn't so nice
to you in that divine discontent was troublesome, making it a challenge
to be satisfied. When you were reasonable or grounded, life was simpler.
Getting focused occurred after becoming inspired. There were times when
you had premonitions of things to come. This either gave you great faith
or was scary. The more you accepted your sixth sense, the easier it was
to express outwardly. Another challenge was achieving discipline and
utilizing reality testing. When you made a commitment not to run away
from conflict, you found clarity. When letting your ideals guide you,
life seemed more magical and full of inspiring symbols. Belief in a
higher power sustained you through many tough challenges. Lovers were
inspirational in stimulating your creativity. You liked the idea of a
special someone with whom to share your dreams. Developing a spiritual
understanding and a sacred place within kept you walking on the straight
and narrow with great awareness, pointing you to pleasurable escapes,
and kept you guilt-free.
Pluto retrograde:
It was a repeating
pattern to know your way around Intensity Street. In some lives you were
overpowering. In others, you didn't usurp enough power. Having a sense
of empowerment was crucial to reaching self-mastery. Survival instincts
you possessed. Being emotionally intense was a past pattern. Learning to
communicate your feelings made you easier to understand. Self-honesty
was liberating but it was a test to admit your faults. Defensiveness had
to be conquered. You didn't believe in going halfway when exploring a
subject. Compulsive lusts for riches and leadership sometimes brought
out your worst manipulative traits. You were happier when feeling
inwardly secure and having allies that you could trust. You had to
beware of an urge to win at all costs. You found rebirth through not
fearing your own shadows, and being big enough not to run from those you
loved. You processed experiences long after they occurred, revisiting
the past often, healed when able to embrace forgiveness.
