Introduction
Welcome to your Past Life report.
Whereas the birthchart is a symbolic road map describing your current
life, the Past Lives chart is a blueprint of your previous incarnations.
The pages that follow will help shed some light on themes related to
your past life instincts. First, let's talk about reincarnation which is
the belief that the current incarnation (as depicted by our birthchart)
is linked to the lives that we have previously led. This collection of
past influences points to particular experiences you might encounter
again so that you can further your growth and fully develop your
creative potential. These past impressions go far in shaping many of our
current thoughts and choices. There are certain gifts a person seems to
possess right out of the womb! It's as though destiny or fate leads one
to realize these attributes. Of course, we still have to show ambition
and make the effort in order to keep our dreams alive. This report may
give confirmation to talents that you already know you have or open your
eyes to ones that you have yet to discover.
Our past lives are alive and well in our
consciousness. This may already be apparent to you. But on the other
hand, these experiences can lie beyond the threshold of our conscious
mind's awareness. What is doing the remembering, if our mind isn't? Call
it your soul, higher consciousness or whatever explanation feels right
to you.
Have you ever heard about karma, that
great law of cause and effect? An old timeless saying sums up the whole
process: "You reap what you sew." There are actions and thoughts that
defined us in other lives, or have guided us to where we are in the
present. They don't really exert any control over us. We have freedom of
choice. That's a strong message to remember when reading this report.
Also, don't panic if you read something
that says you were not a perfect person. Nobody is in the current one!
Use the report as a learning tool. The idea is to keep developing and
evolving. It's balancing the cosmic rhythm of past and present that
presents each of us with a challenge. Do we respond positively or
negatively? With hope or doubt? Many of our tendencies are linked to
previous incarnations. Certain patterns have likely been by our side
over many lifetimes. As we grow and expand our awareness, it becomes
very possible to step beyond the trappings of past life baggage.
No doubt you will read various sections
that seem to contradict each other. Each could be true about you. It's
important to realize that many different dimensions of ourselves live
within us. Each of us is composed of memories from so many past lives,
combined with an assortment of ways we have learned to deal with reality
in this life, that make us complex beings. See which descriptions ring
true to you as you read through the following pages. You will notice
some traits described have a repeating theme.
I hope you find this report an enjoyable
ride into your past life instincts and thought patterns. They are
somewhere in your consciousness. Perhaps some of what you read will
strike a familiar chord. After all, these pages are all about your past
life loves, creative pursuits, adventures, travels, highs and lows, over
many lifetimes. Happy navigating!
The Past Life Chart Structure
Some technical explanations about the
Past Life chart (if you detest technical discussions, then skip this
paragraph and jump right into the report!). The Ascendant in this chart
starts with the sign on the cusp of the 12th house, instead of the
traditional method of using the sign on the 1st house cusp, which is the
sign rising on the eastern horizon at the time of birth. Also, the Past
Life birthchart houses are counted clockwise, rather than the
conventional way of counterclockwise. In other words, since the 12th
house becomes the Ascendant, the sign on the cusp of the 11th house now
begins the 2nd house, etc., around the chart wheel. What is considered
the Ascendant or 1st house in the traditional chart becomes the 12th in
the Past Life chart. Your planets remain in the same sign placements,
but now occupy different houses, in this new chart. The planets in signs
are interpreted in your report from a past lives perspective.
Something interesting to consider in
thinking of the houses in a clockwise direction, they are actually now
moving in the same direction as the Nodes of the Moon. As you will read
in the report the Moon's nodes are strong past life or karmic points in
a chart. Their retrograde motion is clockwise meaning they share the
same life biorhythms as the houses of the Past Life chart. By traveling
backward, or clockwise, through the houses, you are being regressed back
into a past life analysis. Enjoy your ride down memory filled lanes!
The Passport
In this section are the first, middle and last names of your Past Lives
astrological identity, the Sun, Moon, and Past Lives Ascendant. Each of
these three building blocks will be discussed as to how they actively
shaped many of your former lives. But before you meet these three key
players, you will start your tour through memory lane with the North
Node of the Moon. The North Node contains a special message about what
was your overall life purpose. It was a constant rhythm pulsating in
your consciousness to keep you on target toward your true purposes. It
was a celestial compass trying to guide you to walk your talk with
greater clarity. So sit back, and enjoy reading your past lives primer.
Node in Capricorn
You had a history of taking the roles
you assumed quite seriously. One of your key impulses was determining
what was worth your time and commitment. Your soul was normally quite
sober about reincarnating knowing the work ahead would take great
determination. The archetypal theme for your destiny was to be a
leader. A crucial lesson was to remember to delegate. You usually
attracted responsibility easily so needed to be careful in not trying to
do everything yourself. Being more inclusive took a load off of your
shoulders.
If you grew too dependent on others, you
had just as many problems. Then again, when you made the time for
closeness, you were more fulfilled. A trickster was in becoming your own
emotional island, hidden away from others. Usually this led to
loneliness and feeling empty, no matter how great the outer success.
Finding a way to balance the drive to climb the career ladder with
having a happy home was a key to the city of happiness. Another way to
say this was staying clear about self-reliance and showing you needed
someone. You eventually valued a home as a sanctuary. Becoming
recognized for accomplishments was a big deal. You grew through meeting
individuals that encouraged you to go beyond your fears and letting them
really get to know you. Also, it was when you encountered a job that
challenged your inner strength that a little voice within tried to guide
you with reassurance to the finish line.
Node in 1st house
What types of activities did you
participate in that furthered your soul growth? When you took the
initiative to courageously put your ideas into motion, life rewarded
you. You found that waiting too long to make decisions cooled your
interest quickly. A common concern was "who am I?" When you didn't panic
and start looking for too much of yourself in relationships, you more
easily managed to stay out of karma's way. What sorts of experiences
motivated you? The freedom to act spontaneously. You had leadership
qualities that people perceived to have a potential for being decisive
and strategic. Your energy levels peaked when you were in a competitive
mode. Indecision is what took the punch out of you. You were more fluid
in movement and happier when not worrying too much about how others
would respond to your actions. If you became too self-focused your fans
didn't stay as loyal. Being assertive kept you on track as much as
becoming too attacking made you seem like an unruly warrior. Somewhere
always hiding in the caverns of your memory banks, were daredevil
instincts mixed with a tinge of weighing your options. When using them
wisely and appropriately, life was colored with a never-ending,
adventure-filled story.
Sun: Creativity, Ego, Self-expression
Sun in Sagittarius:
The sign of Sagittarius, the archer,
lighted the late-fall astrological skies at your birth into this life.
Let's explore what significance this had in regard to your past lives.
In traditional astrology the keyword phrase for Sagittarius is "I
understand". You had a repeating pattern associated with a quest for
expanded self-discovery. A thirst for knowledge hits that Sag arrow
right on the mark. You often pulled adventurous ideas from your mental
quiver. Looking for the roads less traveled spoke to the gypsy in you.
Archetypes for Sagittarius include the
teacher, student, philosopher and even a clown. You looked for the
ultimate meaning in things. The disappointment painted on your face
showed when encountering shallowness in people, and especially that
found in society's institutions.
The cosmic principle at work through
many of your lives was to avoid commitments until ready to settle down.
In other words you may have retired first and gone to work later. You
were more fun to be around when you didn't become dogmatic. When you
were truly able to agree to disagree, life was more fun. Your sense of
humor kept the heavy stuff in perspective. A never-ending positive
attitude allowed you to climb high mountains. Of course there were a few
journeys that after halfway, you wished you hadn't begun. Blind faith
did lead you astray. You found ego strength through developing a
powerful belief system. The traveler in you was a strong theme. Past
lives witnessed you covering many miles whether through the mental or
physical levels. You have come into this life solarized through a sign
promoting expansive thought. This was a theme that ran throughout your
incarnations and was a key to self-mastery. It was when you took that
leap of faith, fueled by clear reason that you accomplished great
things.
Sun in 3rd house
You had solar power that went right
through your mental processes in previous lives. It radiated out
curiously and quickly, taking advantage of new learning opportunities.
You enjoyed a sense of pride in your communication ability. People
responded to your confident ideas. Your creative vitality became
awakened when slipping out of the usual routines. Repetitive thinking
bored you in a hurry. Changing circumstances delighted you.
If there was a challenge, it was getting
distracted by walking in too many directions simultaneously. It's not
that you couldn't do this successfully. You did at times lose your
focus. Your perceptions were your key to opening doors of opportunity.
Bouncing concepts off of the minds of others was stimulating. The
exchange of information with peers or colleagues made you feel
invigorated. Experiences that offered diversity were pleasing.
Insightful ideas lived brightly through you. Your self-expression found
inspiration through travel and education. A change of scenery was your
way of keeping problems in perspective. The world responded positively
to your energizing mental outlook, but less favorably when you seemed
scattered. Channeling nervous energy into productive outlets was
rewarding. You found fulfillment in influencing positive change in
others.
Moon: Sense of Security, Roots,
Feelings
Moon in Capricorn:
You were lunarized at birth through the
sign of Capricorn. What does this say about your past life tendencies?
An instinctual desire to trust the safety of structure as a means to
success followed you from one incarnation to another. The family
ancestries in past lives were linked by a serious acceptance of
responsibility and ambitious drives.
Your inner landscapes were colored by a
hard-working nature. Fear was the stumbling block that got in your way.
When you conquered self-doubt just enough to break free, you found your
true paths. You could be quite reserved, even shy, until getting to know
someone. It's possible that you felt younger as you became older! You
were a reliable sort. Some may have found you a little strict. The less
control you exhibited, the closer loved ones came to you.
You enjoyed solitude as the atmosphere
spoke to your soul. You rose into leadership positions because people
trusted you. You reached the top of a profession through steady
patience. Delayed gratification was not that hard for you. Being too
conservative when it came to taking a risk did cost you an opportunity
or two. Depression was a challenge. It was important that you didn't
make your work your whole life. Another strong theme was leadership.
Your subconscious called to you to stay clear of becoming rigid, and let
the voice of your intuition speak as loudly as your pragmatic side.
Moon in 1st house
You had intuitive power to know how to
fulfill your identity in past lives. The trick was using it! Wanting to
help others sometimes was given priority over your own needs. You
instinctually knew how to initiate actions to preserve your sense of
security. People did at times see you as impatient or erratic. An inner
restlessness caused you to act impulsively. Your emotional intensity was
evident to others. Moods could get the best of you. Patience was a test.
Being too self-focused was another challenge. Keeping your dependency
needs balanced was a key to success.
An inner feeling to be free and
spontaneous many times outweighed your need for stable roots. Then
again, that there were lives you wanted to know there was someone to
come home to. You liked to quickly express your adventurous imagination.
Ascendant: Persona, Identity, Calling
Card
Capricorn on Ascendant:
With the sign Capricorn as your past
lives Ascendant, a serious spirit colored your incarnations. You were
often driven to succeed. The work ethic was your middle name. Your past
lives attracted much responsibility. Another theme was when you were a
hermit. Solitude was a desirable thing. People perceived you to be good
at whatever you took the time to learn. You were fond of traditions that
gave you a feeling of stability and meaning. You were very much defined
through the roles through which you chose to express yourself. If you
became too attached to success you suffered. Learning flexibility made
life easier to accept, and you were more fun for others to know. You had
a tendency to be a workaholic. It means you were driven and didn't know
when to stop. You achieved great things through sheer determination.
Patience was something you usually mastered. Giving into a fear of
failure was a repeating challenge. You had a tendency to freeze up when
needing to express feelings. Depression was a challenge. You had a
natural inclination to feel responsible when something failed. You
enjoyed life more when you accepted your own limitations, and developed
positive thinking. You gazed out at the world through eyes hoping to
have your tenacious efforts rewarded. It was always a key to happiness
for you to flow with the changes that life sent your way.
The Quest
Mercury: Communication, Perceptions and Logic
Mercury in Scorpio
You were Mercurialized at birth through
the sign of Scorpio pointing to probing mental impulses in past lives.
Your communication style was reflective and at times very passionate.
It wasn't easy to read your mind as your
words hid your feelings. An introspective side could find you very
quiet. You sometimes purposely stayed silent to deepen your
contemplation on a situation. There were instances you did this to
manipulate and even punish others. You didn't always forgive real
easily. When you let go of the past, it tended to free up your creative
energy. You could be decisive in a flash. Indecision was more a matter
of not wanting to tip your playing cards before you were good and ready.
Privacy was something you guarded.
You worked ferociously on projects.
Business sense was there if needed. You liked to know what was going on
beneath the surface of things. Metaphysical processes intrigued you.
When you managed to figure out how to redirect negative energy into the
positive, you found great strength. Your mental outlook was brighter
when you found like-minded allies, and when you let your insights guide
you to opportunities for exhilarating rebirths of spirit.
Mercury in 3rd house
Your perceptions moved excitedly, giving
you instant scans of whatever you encountered. Sometimes you wished you
didn't get so bombarded by so many stimuli. You curiously looked out at
the world anxious to explore anything even resembling an information
highway. Your mind was always set to the ready-alert position to
anticipate the next move to be made. Communication was a way of seeking
greater stimulation. Your insights into a wide variety of situations
came in handy. You regularly impressed people with your interesting way
of getting a message across.
You didn't like being told there was one
acceptable way of doing things. Activities that gave you plenty of
diversification were enjoyable. Repetitive routines made you uneasy.
Some accused you of leaving jobs undone due to lack of focus. You
excelled in creating shortcuts, even if once in a while you left out a
few tedious details.
Venus: Relationships, Values,
Comfort.
Venus in Sagittarius
With the love goddess adorning you
through the sign of Sagittarius at birth, you came from past lives where
you repeatedly found love in places far from birth. Many people
experienced you as symbolizing free-spiritedness and adaptability. Your
social instincts were shaded with a hue of a talkative, entertaining
storyteller, yet there was an unmistakably deep philosopher peering out
from deep within you.
The ideal soul mate could change course
with you in a flash, setting sails for seas of high adventure. You were
attracted to lovers with openness to new learning and with a romantic
heart. You liked those willing to forgive you when you put your foot in
your mouth. There was an innocence about you that either made your
friends like you or think you too naive. You often tempted fate with a
reckless decision, and there were times when you relied on luck a little
too much. It must be said, just for the record, you often got away with
taking risks due to your belief that the universe would make you a
winner.
You liked learning and showing your
intelligence. The counselor and advisor in you made you popular. You
usually had an above average understanding of law. Ethics and honesty
were valued. When you were tolerant of belief systems outside of your
own turf, you did expand your horizons in very beneficial ways. You saw
yourself as more of a citizen of the world than belonging to any
particular nationality or village. There was loyalty to your friends and
lovers. You didn't like to plant roots unless it was absolutely
necessary. Your romantic fulfillment depended heavily on linking with
like-minded, fun-loving souls, with one bag always packed for that next
exhilarating odyssey.
Venus in 3rd house
You were mentally quick when interacting
socially. You tended to be a stimulating force in relationships, with
ideas that made others think more insightfully. Communication-friendly
lovers attracted your attention, and your way with words got them to
notice you. Versatility was what you looked for in people. Rigidity
didn't impress you.
Some accused you of being fickle and
lacking concentration. Though you explained this as a need to stay
mentally diversified. Travel companions on the physical and intellectual
levels made you feel at ease. Your peers experienced you as curious and
even anxious. You liked to keep your options so open that at times
making commitments was testy. You valued not being forced into decisions
and liked individuals with a willingness to be open to change. When
people listened to you they made you feel valuable. Encouraging those
you loved to see the possibilities before them meant a lot to you.
Mars: Assertion, Courage, Identity
Mars in Libra
What would a warrior planet in the airy
sign of Libra mean regarding your past lives? You welcomed those moments
when you were decisive. The agony of weighing options played upon your
consciousness heavily. It was easier to please yourself than others.
Your initiating impulse was lit when you were inspired to act by a
lover, or when you were pursuing to own beautiful things. A competitive
streak was awakened when you felt others were taking advantage of you.
You expected to be treated with fairness.
Your identity was attached to finding a
lover and soul mate as part of the same package. Romantic individuals
had a way of getting you to slow down and smell the roses. Your pace
vacillated abruptly from very fast to very slow. This was due to
forgetting to rest, so eventually you dropped from exhaustion. There
were lives where you learned how to pace yourself. You were at your best
when finding the paths that presented you with enough stress to test
your mettle. You didn't really like to prolong angry disputes as it made
you feel uneasy. Relationships played a major role in that friends,
lovers and children were the catalysts to cause you to act courageously.
When you moved with diplomacy and perceptive awareness, you were quick
to see how to achieve the harmony you so anxiously were seeking.
Mars in 5th house
You took the initiative when it came to
showing the world what you were capable of doing. Your adrenaline got
pumping through pursuing your creative dreams. A competitive side shot
forth when you felt someone was trying to outshine you in a field of
expertise. Fighting to defend that which you felt a sense of pride in
was a repeating theme. What made you become territorial? When people
infringed upon your freedom to express yourself. You became as loud as a
lion in roaring for enough room to walk your own talk as you saw fit.
With a warrior's passion you fought for what you believed to be in your
best interest. Your ego did betray you sometimes, leading you into
unnecessary skirmishes.
Impatience came when you wanted your own
way as of yesterday. People liked you more when you maintained awareness
of their needs as well. Taking risks wasn't always bad timing. As a
matter of fact, in some lives you were adept at rushing wonderfully into
ventures that panned out handsomely in your favor. Assertiveness was on
automatic redial! You didn't have to reach far to be a straight shooter.
If anything, you were asked to back off and let others make their own
decisions. A forceful and passionate drive stirred others into action,
either for or against you. Anger usually resulted when individuals
either paid little attention to you, or tried to keep you from being all
you could be.
Jupiter: Knowledge, Expansion,
Philosophy, Travel
Jupiter in Gemini
Having Jupiter, the planet of good
fortune, in the sign of Gemini indicates you were enthusiastic about new
mental growth. You were a restless type with a yearning to share
information with others. You chose to expand your potential through
exploring diverse subject matter. Knowledge was godly in your opinion.
It was in your makeup to read and fill your mind with new facts past the
saturation point. You did get so lost in following various paths
simultaneously that you lost focus from time to time. Being confined to
any space for long periods made you antsy to move. You brought luck your
way by being open to alternative approaches. Opportunities abounded when
you stayed positive in thought. Teaching and advising showed off your
intellect. Travel made you feel more like a citizen of a bigger part of
the world. You dreamed often of satisfying a quest for new information
highways. Quenching the thirst of a philosophical hunger to understand
life from every way imaginable was part of your past repertoire. You
sometimes thought so fast that you missed details. With practice you
could slow down just enough to pick up what you dropped while hurriedly
moving on to the next experience. When maintaining a broad perspective
you created an atmosphere radiating breathless, stimulating options.
Jupiter in 8th house
A positive and enterprising outlook
influenced you to look for profitable alliances. You felt great if you
managed to pull off moving in multiple directions successfully. Although
there were times when you regretted not focusing on one major
undertaking at a time. Losing important confidantes or romantic partners
through not paying attention to them did get you thinking about your
priorities. A tendency to be too secretive distanced you from others.
Spontaneity in tempting fate, or even living in dangerous situations,
made you feel refreshed. Learning to keep life simple proved a wise
alternative. Getting lost in compulsive desires needed to be kept in
check. A powerful rejuvenation of energy followed when you turned things
around. Travel was one of your favorite ways to process information or
past experiences. Luck smiled favorably upon you when letting go of your
irrational fears. Good fortune came through having the wisdom to know
which belief systems would expand your options.
The Journey
Saturn: Ambition, Seriousness, Focus, Responsibility
Saturn in Scorpio
Ambition came through you powerfully,
says your past lives history, with Saturn placed in the intense sign of
Scorpio. This was in reality true after you thoroughly investigated the
various potentials you possessed. Discipline was the natural outcome in
being willing to make a commitment to whatever you were trying to
master. Summoning the strength from within sometimes miraculously
occurred when you needed it the most. Your greatest fear was failing to
be a success. When you became clear this was mostly due to your worry
over disappointing others, you found a renewed sense of freedom. In
other words, your fear lessened because you chose to pursue your own
dreams.
A karmic shadow was to either utilize
extreme force to get your own way, or to run completely away from your
power. A clear sense of empowerment brought an incredible rebirth and
fulfillment. You often defined yourself through professions that allowed
you to reach self-mastery, and as someone unwilling to retreat from a
challenge.
Saturn in 4th house
What was your main focus? It was with
your sense of security. Knowing which experiences were truly buttering
your bread with self-preservation was a driving force. You consistently
asked at crucial points during an incarnation: how can I establish deep
roots? Home gave you a feeling of control and being needed. Rigidity
regarding a fear of vulnerability sometimes produced karmic woes. The
antidote was greater flexibility in this area, that is, when you were
determined not to repeat the same old lessons needing to be learned. You
were a private sort, and sometimes too much so. People sensed you were
conscientious, but not openly warm as a rule. You expected dedication
and could reach out to help those you really cared about.
A shadow was either a fear of being
alone or a dread of getting close to someone. Finding the midpoint
between these two extremes was a challenge. Clear definition of
emotional boundaries was a challenge. You really valued privacy. You
needed to learn not to take family and your most trusted allies for
granted. A major redefining that was associated with becoming inwardly
strong and self-reliant occurred regularly in lifetimes. A location that
offered you prosperity was sought. Wisdom came in recognizing how much
responsibility for others was reasonable to accept.
Uranus: Individuality, Goals,
Uniqueness, Freedom
Uranus in Cancer
You had a tendency to react emotionally
about future goals, indicates having Uranus in the sign Cancer. Your
mind did switch to fast forward when you sensed how to preserve your
sense of security. Emotional roller coaster rides are what bothered you
the most. Sometimes you purposely disrupted your own comfort zones just
for the heck of it. Then again, you enjoyed a home providing peace of
mind.
Inventiveness found roots in your
intuition. You found that new ideas came when you had time for private
contemplation. It was important where you lived. You launched refreshing
perceptions when living in a locale rightly aligned with your intellect.
Maintaining a sense of direction allowed you to feel inwardly safe, and
outwardly confident that you were a step away from greeting the
excitement of new potentials.
Uranus in 7th house
In what way were you unconventional?
That's an easy one, relationships! You were attracted to the
individualists and free thinking types. It was the edge of
unpredictability you liked in others. A futuristic vision led you into
exhilarating connections with people who inspired you to reinvent
yourself. Your goals were interspersed with the expectations of others.
This did cause you a certain degree of anxiety in trying to please you
and someone else. You relied on allies to help stimulate you to fulfill
what you set out to do. A sense of direction made you more decisive. It
provided a sense of balance as well. You were uneasy without mental
calmness and clear objectivity. Freedom meant being treated as an equal.
Without your personal autonomy, you were a ship lost at sea. As a matter
of fact, you then attracted self-centered individuals. Progressive
partners appealed to you. Though when either you became too rebellious,
or your partners too eccentric, relationships were stormy. Compromising
too much of your own needs didn't work either. You liked exciting lovers
able to perceive your unique qualities. Being swept off of your feet by
surprises was welcomed. Becoming exhausted from the fast lane made you
call timeout. You were inventive in finding interesting partners.
Neptune: Idealism, Romanticism,
Intuition, Dreams, Escapism
Neptune in Libra
You believed in ideals that symbolized
fairness and justice for all. Your idealism was awakened through the
individuals believing in you, and the ones you admired. Talents in the
arts were shown in several lives. You liked individuals possessing
diplomacy and tact. Stress annoyed you if lasting too long. Denying
there was any problems never resolved anything. Romance was a great
calling. Love was almost a religion. You liked exotic partners and those
willing to move quickly in an atmosphere of celebration. Falling in love
with a lack of reality testing was not in your best interest.
A major challenge was in defining the
boundaries between you and others. Guilt made you feel too responsible
for a person's troubles. Wearing rose colored glasses painted false
first impressions of individuals, letting you see what only you chose to
perceive. There were times when you could see right into the soul of
someone. When you were honest with yourself, you gravitated to the right
peers and lovers. You wanted from the deepest part of your soul to get
opportunities to express your gifts and to find a special someone that
recognized the true you. You found transcendental growth through not
trying to overly please others, and by having the faith to proceed ahead
with your most determined effort.
Neptune in 5th house
In what way were you extra intuitive? It
was in regard to creativity. You had a playful imagination that kept you
feeling young. Falling in love with life occurred when you discovered
your true directions. You became mesmerized with acting out different
roles. It was as though you felt entitled to success. This doesn't mean
you were always overflowing with confidence. There was plenty of energy
to explore people and occupations that called to you. Your idealism was
forever pumping your heart to follow its dreams. Falling in love was a
high.
A test was picking the right lovers. You
didn't always exercise the best judgment when it came to romance. When
you had a clear idea about what you wanted, you did manage to come out
okay for the most part. Your risk-taking was exciting when feeling the
inspiration of your beliefs. Though if you lost sight of reality you got
into trouble. Your spirituality was strengthened by your will power. You
welcomed situations that let you measure just how strong were your
convictions. What was the biggest challenge? It was in knowing how to
pick yourself up after a setback. A loss of ego strength made you feel
disoriented. Regaining your composure was as essential as connecting
once again to your determination. Faith transformed your denial into a
renewed sense of wholeness. You searched for a purpose able to live up
to your highest expectations of life and yourself.
Pluto: Personal Power, Self-mastery,
Rebirth, Loss, Passion
Pluto in Leo
Empowering yourself through creative
risk-taking was a past lives tendency. A strong drive to make your plans
ring true was forever pulsating through you. Finding pride through
giving birth to ideas was a regular pattern. Cheering and promoting
emanated from you loudly. You shined brightly with charisma when your
accomplishments were recognized. Your enthusiasm often swept people into
believing in you. Growing too attached to what you loved was an
occasional downfall. Maintaining some objective distance from lovers and
your creations made you easier to like.
There was a shadow. What was it? A fear
of losing. When your skin toughened up enough to at least accept a small
dose of rejection, you didn't suffer as much. You could fight endlessly
to make others accept your proposals and deals. In the end, you had to
decide which battles to wage. In some incarnations you actually lacked
the confidence to be successful. Therefore, in this latter case you had
to find ways to allow the talent to develop. Self-mastery was discovered
through allowing authentic self-expression beam brightly from you. You
found rebirth or a sense of renewal when listening to your heart, rather
than the fear of your self-doubt.
Pluto in 6th house
How did you go about seeking personal
empowerment? It was through cleverly adapting to new situations and
being prepared for the inevitable. A renewed sense of purpose was
discovered through finding the skills that released your true
capabilities. You were thorough, but sometimes perfection got the best
of you. Being a critic came naturally. You needed to tone down
unrealistic demands. A powerful self-examination manifested after a
personal setback in the areas of love, health or career. A compulsive
tendency to worry got you to ask thought-provoking questions. A shadow
frequently followed you into incarnations connected to being afraid to
have others see your faults. When you got over this concern, you were
more spontaneous.
Footnotes
You have already been introduced to the ten planets. Certain planetary
pairs in your chart have a special relationship to one another due to
particular angular distances separating them, known as aspects. You
could say the two planets in an aspect travel and interact together
along the same circuit. The following aspects will be listed under five
types. Two are known as the soft aspects: the sextile (60 degrees) and
trine (120 degrees). These two aspects generally point to more gentle
themes, and therefore will describe past life trends that went very well
for you. They indicate a lower voltage of electricity and produced less
friction in your mind and through your actions. The planets involved in
a trine or sextile are more likely to talk about areas where you flowed
without much effort.
The more hard or intense aspects are the
conjunction (0 degrees), square (90 degrees) and opposition (180
degrees). They required your best understanding in past lives. Planets
that are part of an intense aspect you will notice often indicate
lessons that must be learned, and follow us from one incarnation into
another until we get them in balance. These higher voltage aspects don't
mean the planets operated negatively, only that there was much more
force behind them. "Soft" does not mean good and "intense" does not
imply bad. It is often the more intense aspects that deepen our soul
growth, that is, if we learn how to use their power wisely. If we don't
it's like taking one step forward and three back.
It might be helpful to keep some
keywords in mind for the aspects. The sextile represents Excitation and
Eagerness. The planets in this aspect give clues as to how their
energies worked in a stimulating way through you. The trine is a special
Harmony. The two planets involved show you were confident of their
interacting energies. The conjunction is where two planets are joined at
the hip. There is a Fusion or powerful blending of these energies. The
square can reveal where you encountered Friction. Pay special attention
to these aspects in particular because they denote themes that are
strong past patterns. Squares ask us to resolve their conflict by
finding creative outlets. The opposition requires a Balancing act. It is
similar to a seesaw. Gaining objective awareness about each planet is a
key. Remember, it was usually the most intense aspects that stretched
you the most in past lives.
Moon conjunct Ascendant
Home was something you were particular
about. You lived where you could secure your identity and find comfort.
Your moods were intense. They let you know when it was the time to make
decisions and get ready for a few changes. You were sometimes too
changeable. When you faced your own shortcomings an inner strength
prevailed.
Sun oppose Jupiter
You have always been lucky in meeting
people that helped give a boost to your enterprising nature. Watching
that you didn't blindly follow in someone's footsteps was an important
lesson. It was a temptation to deny what you really knew to be true. You
were attracted to lovers sharing your love of travel and learning. Your
sense of humor helped get you through challenges. Adaptability was a
strong point. Seeing the glass as half full rather than as half empty
certainly influenced your thinking.
Mercury conjunct Venus
Sharing ideas was a way to learn more
about the world in which you lived. A natural curiosity about people was
never far from your thoughts. You needed to watch out for growing too
preoccupied with worry and becoming too critical. Getting distracted by
business did dilute your remembering to have a good time. You enjoyed
individuals with common sense and still knew how to celebrate. Visiting
new environments was stimulating, and a way to spice up your life.
Mercury trine Uranus
A vision for the future you naturally
possessed. It was exhilarating to step out of the everyday routines. You
liked variety. Disruptive people and sudden change were not that
welcome. You liked new experiences that didn't make you extremely
nervous. Travel and being exposed to different learning environments
opened your eyes to exciting paths. You had a fondness for new trends as
long as they didn't stamp out the past that you valued.
Mercury square Pluto
You had a mind that could slice through
any problem, like a laser beam. Mental intensity followed you into your
incarnations. Sooner or later, you were faced with your shadows. Staring
them down was liberating, running from them was limiting. You could be
ruthless about defending your ideas. Whatever work you performed, it was
thorough. A passion for your favorite subjects and pastimes caused you
to accomplish great things. When you didn't stubbornly resist those
wanting to know the real you, your relationships deepened immensely. You
didn't trust many people. Transcending a painful past was occasionally
the catalyst to send you toward rebirth.
Mars trine Jupiter
You had a way of getting others wrapped
up in your interests. Self-confidence made your luck. You had good
fortune at times when the odds said you shouldn't. Taking risks was a
constant temptation. You were better than most at gambling, but needed
to know your limits. You were self-motivated and had a lively delivery
when it came to sharing knowledge. Your optimism was contagious.
Mars square Uranus
If you are reading this one you liked a
fast pace in most incarnations, that is, unless you burned out. Taking
your time wasn't the first impulse. Leaping ahead was! You pushed your
ideas until others listened. You did run for your life a few times when
the average contemporary had enough of your revolutionary, maybe even
hedonistic ways. There were lives where you channeled this energy
powerfully into bold inventiveness. Yes, you were trend setting. Your
friends may have found you eccentric, but never boring. You liked those
with minds that thought in unique ways, like your own. Rules and
conformity irritated you. A revolutionary mentality caused you to detest
restrictive authority figures. When you did learn patience, it helped
you make less enemies and to hold onto your closest allies. Surprises
made life worth living.
Mars conjunct Neptune
Marching forward with being motivated by
ideals played a part in your past. You were a seeker of symbols that
inspired a drive to rise above your problems. Emotional intensity was
often strong. Causes drew you away from everyday norms to fight for a
larger belief system. When you grew weary from the challenges of the
world, you occasionally sought refuge. You were a romantic that needed
to be careful when charging recklessly forward into love or toward
ideals. If you were lost in escapism, you lost your sense of direction.
You were at your best when not so disillusioned by life's ups and downs.
Guilt caused you to feel too responsible for others. Anger was either
blurted out instantaneously or hidden deep within your feelings. When
being more direct, you acted with greater clarity for the most part.
Mars square Node
When you veered too far from the right
paths, life slapped you in the face. It was a wake up call. When walking
your talk, clearly the conflict wasn't as abrupt. Living in extremes
could occur before you knew what happened. You had a tendency to move
fast instinctively, which sometimes worked beautifully. There were
occasions when you had to retrace your steps due to lack of foresight.
You caused many of your battles through unconscious actions that
infuriated others. Though in all fairness, even when you were as clear
as the brightest sunshiny day, enemies challenged your strength. There
were lives where you withdrew from struggles. The burnout or exhaustion
was replaced with a revitalized self. You had a knack for sensing danger
on the horizon. This made you better prepared to defend yourself. A
spiritual awakening changed you drastically making you desire to take a
burning intensity to a higher level of expression.
Mars oppose Midheaven
Self-confidence came with each little
success. It was the pressure in trying to meet the expectations of
others that made you uneasy. You had a competitive side but it needed a
lot of encouragement to come forward. There was a bit of performance
anxiety. You made a good leader when you didn't doubt yourself. Knowing
when to push others and when to back off brought out the best in those
you tried to help. You were a late bloomer but this doesn't mean you
didn't accomplish your serious plans. Fighting those in authority wasn't
always wise. Then again, being a doormat for others grew old real fast.
You were the most content when finding those skills that released the
intensity of your potential. Settling into a home environment that
energized your identity and one that made you feel needed, were the
grounding forces.
Jupiter trine Neptune
Your ideals are what you preached. It
was living up to them that wasn't easy. You were fortunate in that life
often embraced your dreams. You liked romantic escapes. Falling in love
was a wonderful high. You did need to be careful in trusting others.
Saturn oppose Midheaven
Being a leader either made you feel
important, or burdened you with responsibility. Trusting your ability
helped. Balancing dependency needs in relationships was vital to your
happiness. Being leaned on heavily for support, and being a leaner
happened about equally as often. There was a fragile ego when it came to
failing. Rejection could be devastating. Accepting help was smart from
those closest to you when life wasn't delivering what you expected. You
found strength in acknowledging your mistakes. Acting responsibly was a
demand you took to heart. Letting others take the lead in their areas of
expertise added harmony.
Uranus square Neptune
An inner restlessness to pursue your
dreams occurred throughout some incarnations. It wasn't easy to
concentrate on the present unless you had clear vision. The mental and
emotional sides of you were in conflict, especially when you experienced
guilt. Integrating intense emotions and a strong intellect took
patience. Exerting your independence required faith when there were
people standing in your way. There were occasions when you too easily
sacrificed your goals and ideals to please others. Balancing your
intuition with a realistic assessment of what was truly possible was the
big challenge.
Uranus oppose Node
You knew that maintaining your freedom
was your lifeline. If you became comfortably numb, no longer caring
about your personal autonomy, something within you died. Then it took
meeting a rebellious soul or having an experience awaken this side of
you again. If you went to the extreme of only serving yourself, it was
hard for anyone to get real close to you. There was an inventor and
innovator pulsating lively inside, just waiting for the chances to be
discovered. You didn't fit into traditional institutions unless making
great adjustments. This isn't saying there were no instances when your
gifts didn't benefit a mainstream society. You had trouble waiting for
others to catch up to your thinking! A revolutionary spirit dominated
your mind. Your gift was great vision. A shadow was lack of foresight
when you moved with reckless abandonment. It took courage and insight to
make this very special dimension of your consciousness work in your
favor.
Uranus square Midheaven
Creating stability wasn't your first
impulse as there was a tendency to be an agent of change. Unfortunately
this made it difficult to achieve stability at home or out in the world.
Putting this inner and outer struggle to rest brought harmony. The
challenge resided in being able to find ways to channel this forceful
energy constructively. You anxiously wanted to receive support and
approval for your goals. Breaking free from everyone else's expectations
did point you in the right direction. Rebelling with no sense of purpose
spelled disaster and left your life in pieces. Nobody could really say
that you were someone without opinions. It was finding that middle
ground of doing your own thing and not stepping on the rights of others
that yielded fulfillment.
Neptune square Node
Your ideals had to be in alignment with
your major life purposes or you were never at ease. Perfection was a
driving energy. Dealing with everyday reality was tough. You needed
structure but defied it. The exception being when you found the life
directions that gave you inspirational focus. Irrational fears sometimes
kept you from showing your ability. Developing sound reasoning powers
was as essential as having the faith to pursue your dreams.
Neptune oppose Midheaven
Letting your ideals be known was a
challenge. It was either authority figures holding you back or your own
insecurities. When people did believe in you, it made your faith grow
immensely in your potentials. Ambition found birth in your intuition. In
some respects, you gave much more than you received. Knowing your
boundaries in partnerships was another test.
Pluto trine Midheaven
Keeping your head in the middle of a
crisis you did quite well. People sometimes erroneously thought you to
be a doormat or to lack ambition. They didn't see the inner resolve and
confidence that was staring them in the face. Empowerment came through
a strong inner sense of your strength, and a relentless tenacity that
wouldn't quit.
Midheaven square Node
If you are reading this one, then you
don't need to be reminded again that your most serious focuses always
became the bread and butter of fulfillment. When not challenged, an
inner conflict tormented you. Your intuition made a pact with reality
that you would work hard as long as you got to play. Balancing the needs
of profession and family were quite a challenge. You wanted both in a
big way. Pleasing each tore you apart if not staying true to your own
soul growth. People took notice of your accomplishments, sometimes
giving you more recognition than you gave yourself. Making peace with
the past freed you in the present and launched the magic of the future.
Just as the Ascendant in the Passport
section that began this report was described as a sign serving a special
purpose, each of the other eleven houses has a sign that helps define
its meaning. What follows is a trip through each of the other past lives
houses or environments to give you a view of additional characteristics.
First are listed the keywords for each house.
2nd House: Comfort, values, money,
ownership.
Sagittarius on 2nd house:
It was not in your nature to believe in
delayed gratification. Saving for a rainy day didn't come naturally. You
tended to deny reality when things got tough. Living for today was
closer to your mantra. Taking reckless chances needed to be modified.
Some accused you of being lazy. You saw it more as being laid back and
waiting for the right time to make your move. Rushing in where many
feared to tread might have gotten you into hot water. You were clever in
getting people to accept your shortcomings. It was that you thought
worrying was a waste of time. A sense of adventure was difficult to
harness. You compromised to please others when you could. A positive
attitude often attracted more abundance.
3rd House: Perceptions, learning,
communication, insight.
Scorpio on 3rd house:
You had a razor sharp mind. You tended
to process events long after they occurred. Sometimes you became too
introspective and wouldn't say what was on your mind. Making people
guess what you were thinking caused confusion. Patience was at your
fingertips. Resisting change cost you an opportunity or two. When you
could forgive and let go, people liked you. It was when you held grudges
that others stayed away. If someone betrayed you, he or she would never
win your trust again. You drew the line clearly in the sand showing what
you would tolerate. You could shred someone's feelings with a sarcastic
tongue. Toning down criticism was wise. When you feared your own past
secrets, it took away from your power. Facing your shadows released your
creative intensity. Channeling your energy positively was the key.
4th House: Home, security, nurturing,
roots.
Libra on 4th house:
You preferred peace and quiet at home.
You didn't handle stress so good, as it was hard on your delicate
nervous system. There were times you made concessions just to make
conflict go away. This wasn't always in your best interest. You leaned
heavily on a partner for advice. The key was having clear dependency
needs. Finding a soul mate was a drive in that it gave you a sense of
security. You were better off when not too compulsively seeking love.
You feared rejection. Finding the faith in your ability created
opportunities.
5th House: Self-expression,
creativity, confidence, romance, risk-taking.
Virgo on 5th house:
Self-confidence was testy. This was
sometimes due to sensitivity about being criticized. Fearing failure was
another challenge that froze you in your tracks. Your idealism was
rubbed out if you lost faith in your ideals. Expressing spontaneous
feelings wasn't your style. You didn't exactly trust that life was
generous. Let's just call this a healthy respect for reality. You felt
younger as you got older! You always needed a sense of order in your
creative environments. You did realize your creative power through
taking your skills public.
6th House: Learning skills, work
environment, perfection, diet, health.
Leo on 6th house:
Denying your self-confidence held you
back. Making strong creative statements pushed you forward. Your work
played a key role in your happiness. You took your jobs seriously.
Sometimes there was frustration if you didn't get the recognition you
desired. Finding the right stage that was big enough for you was the
challenge. You weren't one to call in sick or take long breaks. Your
health did get depleted on various occasions by not pacing yourself. You
were a bit testy when it came to bossiness. Letting others express ideas
freely took some practice. Patience was another area you had to work on.
Learning humility was a test. Dead-end roles never did much for your
patience. Skipping over details was a trait.
7th House: Relationships, marriage,
partnerships, social awareness.
Cancer on 7th house:
Your relationships were deep and hard to
forget. A search for emotional security influenced your partnerships.
You had to watch out for being too dependent on others or someone
relying excessively on you. Trying to live your potentials out through
someone else backfired. When you did find a compatible lover, emotions
were still intense due to the passion aroused. Working as a team meant a
lot to you. You liked reliable individuals that proved they could be
trusted. If your heart was broken or betrayed by someone, it had a
devastating effect on your mental outlook. Emotional upheavals did
distract you from your goals. You were very sensitive about receiving
emotional support. People who showed they cared about you won your
loyalty.
8th House: Power, joint resources,
rebirth, passion, self-mastery.
Gemini on 8th house:
You had the mind of a detective. A love
of research and probing beneath the surface of things was shown. A
fierce negotiator was another dimension about you. Deceiving others to
hide the truth got you into trouble now and then. A crafty
problem-solver was something else in which you excelled. It's when you
outsmarted yourself in trying to use your intelligence to misguide
others that you were seen as untrustworthy. Trust was a key in defining
just how close you would let someone get to you. A compulsive need to
have others be loyal to you, did get the best of you now and then. You
were the happiest with lovers when there were few big secrets between
you. Spending time alone was a way to recharge your mental and emotional
batteries. When you weren't afraid to face your shadows, your creative
mental power was released.
9th House: travel, learning,
philosophy, knowledge, optimism.
Taurus on 9th house:
A pragmatic philosophy about life in
general was typical of you. This doesn't mean you were never a rebel.
But even then it was because your sense of security or comfort was
threatened. Travel relaxed your psyche and helped you zoom in on the
larger picture. You appreciated people who communicated with a sensible
logic. You had a talent in being able to make smooth transitions in the
midst of difficult circumstances. You abhorred people without ethics.
Your long-range plans were well structured. Sometimes a tendency to
refuse to change course created friction, and caused lost opportunities.
Getting too attached to your own belief system made you harder to live
with. When you let go of narrow vision in favor of a wider acceptance,
you were more popular.
10th House: Professions, ambition,
leadership, focus, commitments.
Aries on 10th house:
An impatience to be successful colored
past incarnations. You fought your way to the top on several occasions.
Leadership roles released a ferocious desire to effect change. You had a
naturally competitive nature. You couldn't stand being told what to do!
You frequently grew bored if life was not challenging. You were more
often than not a type "A" personality in the work arena. Authority
figures either liked your independent ways or were annoyed by them. You
often questioned the authority of others, with angry outbursts not far
behind. Discipline was a challenge. Your focusing power reached great
heights when you found those areas that fully captured your attention.
Hurrying up to get a job done never served you that well. When you
learned to finish what you started, a higher or more refined type of
self-expression emanated from you. Having the wisdom to move with
directness, accompanied by insight, served you better than haphazardly
following a whim.
11th house: Goals, individuality,
freedom, inventive, progressive, unique.
Pisces on 11th house:
You proceeded toward your goals guided
by your intuition Of course, this doesn't mean you always listened to
that little voice within. Doubting your instincts produced confusion as
much as too compliantly following an unrealistic whim was a ticket to
nowhere. Don't despair. You had your share of success within a vision
that was light years out in front of your contemporaries. It was
bringing your ideals into visibility that others could actually see that
was the challenge. When you didn't let your emotions cloud your
perceptions there was much smooth sailing. Your energy levels could
change quickly due to unpredictable moods. It wasn't easy to express
your unique talents. It took great courage to rise above the crowd and
let your most spontaneous voice be heard.
12th house: Idealism, intuition,
escape, faith, beliefs.
Aquarius on 12th house:
Your truths were your own inventions.
You couldn't live this any other way without feeling shallow. People
either admired this trait or thought you quite the arrogant one. When
you had your dreams shattered your idealism and individuality became
waterlogged. You sometimes felt like a fish out of water when your goals
seemed as elusive as a seductive empty Sahara Desert mirage. A loss of
direction was maddening. So this is when you did whatever it took to try
to get back to a state of normalcy. This was accomplished by either
abandoning the past or embracing a new future. The latter worked faster
and better. You intuitively knew in advance, certain events were going
to occur. This was either met with your acceptance or denial. You
weren't spontaneously ready to acknowledge your visions. Though with
time, the faith did come to put into practice what you knew to be true.
Your belief system was somewhat eccentric. You had a challenge in
keeping your ideas grounded. You had changeable and complicated
emotions. Gaining mental objectivity was the test.
Planets in actuality never really move
backward, but can appear to do so. This is referred to as retrograde
motion, and as you will read has special past life meaning surrounding a
particular planet's symbolism. The following are planets that were
moving retrograde at your birth with a description as to how this played
out for you in other incarnations.
Jupiter retrograde:
It was a repeating pattern that you had
a challenge in not foolishly believing in the wrong things or people.
When you were on target and accurately assessing situations, you were a
dynamo of efficiency and inspiration. Another challenge was in the area
of confidence. When you lost faith it took the wind out of your sails.
The search for an expansive enough vision was an innate drive. People
didn't respond as well if you preached dogma or grew too judgmental.
When you kept an open mind there was less friction. You had a capacity
to embrace a positive outlook, that is, if self-doubt didn't seep into
your thinking. Another challenge was running too fast to where the grass
might be greener, running away from facing problems. The optimist in you
needed to know limits. When you walked with commonsense and put your
ideas into worthwhile actions, the world had no choice but to eventually
give into your needs for self-discovery.
Uranus Retrograde:
It was a repeating pattern that you had
unique goals, reserved just for you. When you didn't do this, life
lacked meaning. When you solely served your own purposes this caused
quite a ruffle in the feathers of those you loved and cared about.
Finding the midstream worked the best regarding these two extremes of
sacrifice and doing your own thing. Your ideas sent shock waves at times
when individuals or collective bodies didn't like the message. You did
sometimes tap into a collective trend before it became in vogue. It did
make you nervous about how you might be judged. Many ideas were kept
internalized until you were sure the coast was clear and safe enough to
present the notions. Were you ever more outwardly disruptive? For sure!
This usually occurred when you were so aroused by injustices or thinking
restrictions imposed upon you. There was a need to perceive with fore
thought, which fights were worth the struggle. Being different just to
be different or starting conflicts with no purpose, were ways you took
many steps in the wrong direction. Listening to cues from the universe
on which directions promised accelerated growth was wise. Your vision of
the future was as strong as the ability to remember what gave your
imagination an electrifying sensation. Patience took effort!
Pluto retrograde:
It was a repeating pattern to know your
way around Intensity Street. In some lives you were overpowering. In
others, you didn't usurp enough power. Having a sense of empowerment was
crucial to reaching self-mastery. Survival instincts you possessed.
Being emotionally intense was a past pattern. Learning to communicate
your feelings made you easier to understand. Self-honesty was liberating
but it was a test to admit your faults. Defensiveness had to be
conquered. You didn't believe in going halfway when exploring a
subject. Compulsive lusts for riches and leadership sometimes brought
out your worst manipulative traits. You were happier when feeling
inwardly secure and having allies that you could trust. You had to
beware of an urge to win at all costs. You found rebirth through not
fearing your own shadows, and being big enough not to run from those you
loved. You processed experiences long after they occurred, revisiting
the past often, healed when able to embrace forgiveness.
